At Giocosamente, every participant is part of the magic and can also propose playful activities and workshop during the open space sessions.
Behind the scenes — and throughout the festival — there are some special souls who take care of the experience, making it ever more authentic, welcoming, and playful.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to all the people who, over the years, have contributed with passion, creativity, and presence to making Giocosamente more beautiful with each edition. This festival is the fruit of a collective dance.

🏴☠️ Anthony Trahair – The Captain and Creator of Giocosamente Festival
Anthony Trahair
Festival creator, Anthony is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of play — for individuals, groups, processes… and pretty much everything else.
Playfulness has been at the heart of his life and work for many years: through juggling, children’s yoga, facilitation, and life in general.
He firmly believes we can live better when we learn (or re-learn) to play and to take ourselves a little less seriously.
🏴☠️ Lilia Pavone – The “LearnAndPlay” Navigator
Lilia Pavone
A consultant and trainer with a playful heart, Lilia helps entrepreneurs, collaborators, and professionals find their own course toward fulfilment, productivity, and happiness.
She navigates expertly through the turbulent waters of conflict management, challenges the fierce winds of public speaking anxiety, and steers decisively toward mission, vision, and values.
At Giocosamente Festival, Lilia plays the precious role of supporting the whole crew in reaching their goals, guiding them through the waves of emotion that rise along the route of play and growth.

Stefano Passarella
At the helm of the Giocosamente Festival 2026 we find Stefano Passarella — a steady-hearted guide who accompanies the crew through emotional waves and the currents of play.
As Helmsman, Stefano helps all participants maintain balance and rhythm, even when the waters get choppy. He brings with him the gifts of playfighting and laughter meditation — precious tools for letting go, laughing, and playing with lightness even in challenging moments.
With his mastery and gentleness, Stefano keeps the ship stable and alive in play, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the crossing.
🏴☠️ Davide Fornasini – The Story Gatherer and Founder of the Travelling Toy Library
Davide Fornasini
A traveller and storyteller, Davide collects stories like hidden treasures and shares them with the crew through his travelling toy library.
With his portable ludoteca, he brings games, adventures, and wonder wherever there’s a desire to play — transforming every place into a safe harbour for imagination and creativity.
🏴☠️ Michele de Santis – Master Cook and Craftsman of Ancient Games
Michele de Sanctis
Expert ship’s cook and woodworking artisan of wonders, Michele creates delicious dishes and traditional wooden games for the Giocosamente Festival crew.
Between ladle and hammer, he brings flavour and fun, keeping tradition alive with skilled hands and a playful heart.
🏴☠️ Aurora de Simoni – Forest Fairy and Keeper of the Seven Seas 🌊
Aurora de Simoni
Raised in a family of yogis, Aurora is a guardian of Pianeta Verde. She welcomes us and invites us to experience nature in a deeply engaging and meaningful way. She sprinkles stardust on the lucky ones!
